lupo

a typical sunday at rocky point with one of our best buds lupo.

lupo has lived at rocky point with his pet joe for years, until joe recently took a job as a marine observer, requiring him to spend weeks at a time out at sea... ultimately, the situation required joe to find a new home for lupo. lupo now lives with several other hounds on a beautiful plot on the hill over looking waimea bay. we have begun the tradition of bringing him back to his shoreline roots on sundays.

below is a sweet vid from this past sunday, featuring lupo and one of my roommates marykate, and a pic of joe and lupo's previous bird house residence at rocky point, designed by the architect doug ackerman. all smiles :)

speaking of riding dirty, local southside news this weekend has been about the machete attacks happening in the neighborhood. the post summed it up with their sunday headline: MACHETE MANIA HACKS 2 MEN IN WILLIAMSBURG. the daily news beat them on the story by a few hours and reported a few more details:

About 15 suspected gang members, wearing T-shirts over their faces, stormed down S. Third St. in Williamsburg around 2 a.m. brandishing 18-inch blades and yelling for their intended target to show himself, witnesses said.

"People were screaming; they were saying, 'We want Melvin!'" said one witness too afraid to give his name.
